Jennifer Pod is an accomplished self taught artist obsessed with the visual heart image and how it has become the symbol of love in our society. She is fascinated by the idea of love in general, which is the main focus in all of her artwork. She has a serious fondness for the color pink perhaps out of her final acceptance that underneath it all.... she is a girl.
Jennifer was born & raised in Houston, Texas but is currently residing in the east village in NYC.
She is a mixed media artist, sculptor, screen printer, seamstress, model, pet sitter, and more.
Voted the readers choice Best Artist in the Houston Press 2009 Best of Houston edition. And featured in the March 2010 issue of HOUSTON magazine.
She has been involved in several art exhibitions, including at the Lawndale Art Center & Galleria Lazzara in Houston Texas. As well as many craft and fashion shows throughout her years.
